High QA is looking for a Mid-Level Software Quality Assurance Automation Engineer to develop and execute manual and automated tests to ensure product quality. It will include monitoring all stages of software development to identify and resolve system malfunctions to meet quality standards.

The role plays an important part in High QA’s product development process. Our ideal candidate will be responsible for conducting tests before product launches to ensure software runs smoothly and meets client needs, while being cost-effective.

Primary responsibilities:

As a QA Automation Engineer, you will be tasked with helping us transition from manual to automated testing. We are looking for someone who can write scripts and create an automated environment for repeated tests. You will design, deploy, and test Web applications and API solutions using automation tools Selenium (preferred) or Test Complete by Smart Bear.

Required skills and background:

• 5+ years of overall testing experience.
• 3+ years of proven experience with automation testing (Selenium (preferred) or Test Complete by SmartBear).
• QA transition from manual to automated testing.
• Experience with relational databases (MySQL or MS SQL preferred).
• Experience with testing hosted/SaaS web applications is a plus.
• Experience with Manufacturing domain is nice to have.
